Recordings and WebCasts with ILIAS and Panopto
Panopto is a server-based video content management system, which has been available as a hosted cloud service for teachers at the University of Freiburg since April 2020. With the Panopto recorder, you can start recordings (e.g. adding soundv to a PPT lecture) as well as live streams directly from your home office or from the office. Panopto is connected to the ILIAS learning platform, so that you can use Panopto directly from your ILIAS course rooms. Your students will then also have automatic access to recordings and live streams.
The video on the right explains how to create a Panopto object from your ILIAS course, how to create a recording with the Panopto recorder and how to start a live WebCast.
