ILIAS provides the basis for digital learning and teaching at the university.
The ILIAS support team will be on Christmas break from 21.12.2024 and will be available again as usual from 7.1.2025 at ilias@rz.uni-freiburg.de.
You have questions about ILIAS?
If you can't log in, can't find your course or if you as a lecturer have questions about creating and designing course rooms: In our support area for lecturers and for students we have many instructions and a forum for questions.
You are also welcome to contact our support team at ilias@rz.uni-freiburg.de.
University account for student assistants (Hiwis) and tutors
To be able to create courses and groups on ILIAS, you need an employee account. If you have an employment contract with the University of Freiburg as a student assistant/tutor, you can apply for this account yourself with just a few clicks. For all matters relating to your studies, you can continue to use your student account as usual.

We are looking for: Research Assistant within the Framework of the European University Alliance EPICUR (f/m/d)
Tasks: Support in the further development and operation of the EPICUR Center for International Teaching and Learning (https://s.kit.edu/epictlc) in the areas of: Creation of video tutorials, adaptation of materials (also as OER), communication etc. ... Very good knowledge of German required

HTML and Javascript embedding will be deactivated on Thursday, 08.08.2024
In preparation for the update of ILIAS to version 8, the embedding of HTML formatting, iframe embedding and Javascript code on ILIAS course, learning module and question pages has been deactivated.
ILIAS 8 no longer supports these functions. Please check your courses and content and switch to other variants of embedding (e.g. videos via ViMP or Panopto, YouTube videos via media objects in the page editor) or formatting
