Create a Whiteboard
Click on “Add new object” and select the “Whiteboard” object in the right-hand column under Communication/Collaboration.
Select the desired default permission (2):
1. All users can view and edit the whiteboard
OR
2. Only course or group administrators can edit the whiteboard; all other users can only view the whiteboard, but not edit it.
Save the setting at the bottom right or top right with Save (2.) and click on the “Content” tab at the top left (3.) to access the whiteboard.Save the setting at the bottom right or top right with Save (2.) and click on the “Content” tab at the top left (3.) to access the whiteboard.

This is where you will find the basic settings for the whiteboard, such as saving files locally, uploading media, etc.
The “Page1” option allows you to add additional pages and navigate between pages.

The middle (movable) menu bar contains the following tools:
Arrow: This mode allows you to navigate the whiteboard.
Hand: The hand tool allows you to select and move individual objects.
Pen: The pen tool allows you to write by hand. The pen is operated via the side menu on the right (3).
Eraser: The eraser can be used to remove and delete entries/objects, etc.
Arrow: The arrow allows you to draw different arrows in different directions.
T for text field: Here you can insert a text field or correct/change an existing text field.
Notepad: With the notepad, you can create notes on the whiteboard. These can be changed in color and texture via the menu on the right (3).
Images: Via the “Images” menu item, you can upload images from your files and integrate them into the whiteboard.
Shapes: Here you will find various shapes, which you can change in color and texture via the menu on the right (3).
