What is a Search?

On ILIAS, the search function can be found in the main navigation bar on the top right and can be recognized by the magnifying glass symbol. Using the search function, courses, groups, and other materials can be searched for a specific term.

What can the Search be used for?

The search function can be used to search e.g. for a specific course, teacher or other materials. It makes navigation easier when you are looking for specific information. In the search function, you can choose whether you want to search in the entire repository (course catalog) or at the current position, i.e. within the currently opened page.
