Consultation Hours
What are Consultation Hours?
The ILIAS option “Consultation Hours” is a tool that enables you to organize and manage your regular consultation hours for students in a simple and clear way. You can define the basic conditions (time slot, number of students, repetition, etc.) yourself.
Once you have created a series of office hours, students can register for the offered appointments themselves.
You will find the administration of consultation hours in the calendar, which you can access via the menu "Overview".
What can the Consultation Hours be used for?
You can use the administration of consultation hours to create consultation hour series that are repeated daily, weekly, monthly or not at all. You can determine how many individual appointments you offer per consultation hour, how long they should last and how many students can register for each appointment. You can offer consultation hours for your students or limit them to specific courses by assigning individual courses to the consultation hours in the input form.
