What can the Matrix ILIAS coupling do?
- Automatic room creation: With a few mouse clicks you can create a Matrix room on the Matrix server in ILIAS.
- simple participant management:
- Course participants, tutors* and administrators* are automatically invited to the Matrix room by ILIAS.
- This invitation is accepted individually in the Matrix account. In this way, privacy can be respected and unwanted group assignments can be avoided.
- If a person is added to or removed from the course, this is immediately implemented in the Matrix room.
- matrix account required: Only course participants who are already registered with Matrix Messenger and have linked their Matrix account in their personal ILI-AS settings are automatically invited.
- overview for teachers: The control and administration of course participants are still anchored in ILIAS (incl. overview of invitation status of participants etc.).
