Deleting rooms
Moderators/admins of a room (or group) can delete the room by first “banning” all members of the room and then leaving the room themselves. The room or group without members can still be found in the “Historical” section for approx. 7 days and will then be permanently deleted from the system.
The room history can be exported as a .txt, .html or .json file.
1. Click on the info icon in the top right corner to open the room information (1). Click on XY people (2) and select any person (3). Their contact information will open.
3. You can use the admin tools to “ban” a person from the room (4). Repeat this process until you have “banned” all members from the group.
4. Leave the room yourself by selecting Leave (2) in the room options (which you can open by clicking on the room name in the top centre toolbar). Confirm your choice by clicking on Leave again.
The room will initially appear in the sidebar under Historical. Click on the three dots to the right of the room name to open the room options. Click on Forget room to remove the room completely from your view.
