What is a Weblink?

The "Weblink" is an ILIAS object that can be selected via the "Add New Item" button. The web link can be used to refer to external websites or to certain ILIAS resources (courses, glossary entries, learning module entries).

What can the Weblink be used for?

By means of a web link you can integrate information that is already available on the internet or elsewhere on ILIAS into your course room. It is also possible to add several links to create a link collection.

In the example on the right a link list was created that bundles various resources on the topic "ILIAS“. Links from the internet were used as well as links within ILIAS.
