What are Contacts?

The menu item Communication provides you access to your contacts. Here you can add different people to an address book and create distribution lists. You can directly enter contacts from your courses via the tab "My courses" and "My group".

What can the Contacts be used for?

Using the contacts function, you can contact certain ILIAS users from your address book by Mail without any search effort.
You can mark your contacts individually by checking the checkbox and write to them. You also have the possibility to create distribution lists. You can create a distribution list, for example, by adding colleagues with whom you might work on a teaching project.
