Calendar
What is a calendar?
ILIAS offers a calendar function which allows you to organize personal appointments as well as appointments of your courses and groups. You can view and create your appointments or milestones, and also select different views of the calendar or settings.
You can access the calendar either via the Overview or the individual courses and groups.
- When accessed via the Overview, the dates of all selected courses and groups as well as all personal appointments are displayed.
- When accessed via individual courses or groups, only the dates of the respective course or group are displayed
What can the calendar be used for?
In the course rooms you have the possibility to use the calendar to make certain dates visible to your students. For example, if you create your lectures using the ILIAS object Session in your course, they will automatically be stored as dates in the course calendar (marked bold).
You can also use your own calendar (access via ) Main Menu > My Workspace to manage your Consultation Hours. This will make it easier for you to organize them, since students can book the dates you provide them with, themselves.
How does it work?
