My Workspace
What is My Workspace?
You will find "My Workspace" on the left side in the Main Menu. Here you have access to your Favourites, Tags, Calendar, Tasks, Portfolios, Personal and Shared Resources and Notes. Only you have access to your personal workspace.
What can My Workspace be used for?
"My Workspace" can be used to manage your own resources on ILIAS. Here you have access to:
- Favourites: Objects such as folders, files, groups, courses that you have saved as a Favourite.
- Tags: Keywords that you have created and assigned to various objects.
- Calendar
- Tasks: Automatically generated collection of all to-dos on the learning platform. For example, deadlines from Exercises/Submissions, unpublished Blog posts, pending assessments of assignments, etc.
- Portfolio: You can manage/edit your portfolios as well as create new portfolios.
- Personal and Shared Resources: This is where you will find personal files, blogs, evidence, etc.
- Notes: for your personal notes and comments
Example:
"My Workspace" is often used to work with the ILIAS object Blog independently of a course context or another folder structure or to create a Portfolio.
